Is it mandatory to constantly present your work in law firms?

What are some of the practice areas where you don’t require to present at all or only on some rare occasions? I just don’t like the extra work of memorising the stuff I had worked on and conveying it and would just be happy if it’s mostly a desk related job only.

Thanks
Disagree. As an intern, I have done several Tier 1 law firm internships at B&F team and had a presentation in each.
thats because of the mandatory internship presentation round of the firm. Once you get inside, B&F will require no routine preparation of presentations for clients unlike practices like TMT, Capmarks & the likes.
