What is the point if the questionnaire? Is it simply a a formality or is there any weightage to it, and how much time do they usually take to revert back?

usually a questionnaire at SAM is a tacit approval of you getting in, so congratulations firstly!!
it shouldnt take long for the HR to get back to you. depends on the day you've sent but should not ideally be longer than 1-2 day period. if it takes longer, take a follow up

not true lol, a bunch of non-reference kids at my t1 nlu got the big fat form filled up yet still rejected. same in rcc applications too

I did get a questionnaire, but its been over a week and no response. I followed up today, but should I assume that I didn't get the internship or do they explcitly send rejection emails?
