CLAT 2023: Last year's state NLU admission data reveals that candidates with lower marks than even SC, ST, and OBC students paid their way into state NLUs through the NRI quota. Understandably, the reserve quota students/aspirants are upset and up in arms over this practice of "selling" seats through the backdoor. Furthermore, these state NLUs are also in violation of the law of the land on this matter. Remember that state NLUs also have domicile reservations.
