I had recently been interviewed for Bangalore office of a T1 firm. Post the interview with the Partner a test was shared which was submitted in due time. It has been 1.5 weeks and got no response so decided to follow up with the HR. The HR said that the Partner is currently travelling and therefore there has been no response from there end.

Should I assume that I have been rejected or should have some hopes for a positive response?
