Asking this in light of Harvardgate/Hamasgate, but with a specific Indian perspective.

Do HR managers at CAM, SAM, AZB etc go through social media handles of students, or Google for the names of students, to see if they expressed left-wing or controversial political views? Do they then filter these names out? As law firms advancing capitalism and privatisation, and pushing for intellectual property rights of American companies, they would presumably consider left-wing views to be incompatible with the values of the firm? Particularly far-left and Marxist views? As also views supporting religious extremism? Do they also ask such subtle questions at interviews?

Incidentally, my friend sent me this funny clip from an old Satyajit Ray movie, which encapsulates the issue well! We have exactly these types of rebel students in my NLU and I guess all NLUs....LMAO!!
