Best in terms of what?

Also with this attitude, I am not sure, you'll get even tier 2, the difference between some tier 1 and 2 is less than 5 marks.

You have enough time, prepare.
GNLU is not T2, probably T1.5 along with NLUJ

T1 - NLS, NALSAR, NLUD and NUJS

T2 - NLIU, HNLU, RML, NLUO and NUALS.

NLIU is the best T2.
GNLU, NLUO, HNLU (in that order) are better than NLIU in the tier 2 segment. Keep NLIU with RML & RGNUL in the tier 3 spot.
Nliu is tier 1 bitch....do have a look at their day zero figures...it has performed slightly better than gnlu and has beaten nluj hands down
NLIU pajeets after giving 20 jobs and claiming the rest "simply weren't interested in placements" lmao okay dude
Tier 1 - NLS, NLUD, NALSAR, NLUJ, NLIU

Tier 2 - NUJS=GNLU, MNLU

Tier 3 - RGNUL, HNLU, NLU-O, NUALS, RMLNLU
Gnlu(best campus life too)>Nluo>Rgnul(best infra)>Rmlnlu

In terms of placements.
Dont know about other. But if you can get GNLU is general catgeory, you can definitely get NLIU. NLIU's cutoff is a ltlle lesser than GNLU. But for either of them you'd need AIR 450ish.
I've been here's so I'll tell you the truth. This is solely basis job opportunities and if your priorities are diff then diff answers may work. For ex- best infra and party life is RGNUL.

For jobs- NALSAR NLS AND NUJS are almost par (barring the LI big dick battles which happen everyday)

Then there is a string of other T1 colleges which will give you the same opportunities given you put in work, with their own downsides ofc, like GNLU has a huge batch size. But these 2 are generally same tier- GNLU and NUJS

NLIU again at intersection of Tier 1 and Tier 2, you can go here without worrying too much. But not quiet the same level as the former 6.

After this SLS Pune and Jindal in herirachy (confirmed from treatment at internships, still you can choose these two as well)

For placements NLUO followed by HNLU and NUALS to an extent (trilegal goes to campus at NUALS)

Below this RGNUL RML MNLU are sold by coachings but vv bleak job prospects. Uske niche mat hi jaoo, infact in colleges mei bhi mat hi jaoo.

The top 5-6 followed by HNLU/NLUO should be your last resort. Goodluck
This is the only list you need to follow-

1. NLSIU (the leader of all time)

2. NALSAR (great crowd and alumni)

3. NUJS (terrific placements)

4. NLUD (lackluster placements)

5. NLUJ (no domicile, good placements)

6. GNLU (huge batch, good placements)

7. NLIU (lots of domicile, good placements)

8. HNLU (solid alumni base, above average placements)

9. NLUO (growing fast, above average placements)

10. NUALS (good crowd, average placements)

Go to RGNUL/MNLU-M only if you are desperate for the NLU tag and you are confident of working hard.

Please avoid any NLUs after this (especially RMLNLU, they have horrible placements. 2023 batch just saw 6-7 law firm placements in a mass hiring year). Better go for JGLS/Symbi Pune/GLC after the top 10
No they are not. The placements are not less anyway than nls nalsar and nujs. Stop lying
GNLU and NLUJ have historically had much larger batch sizes than NLUD and so they have more numbers. Same for NALSAR and NUJS. Percentage-wise, we’re way better. And even disregarding all of that, we’re still better than all these places in every other metric except age and this, alumni.
Percentage wise, you are not. Nor are you ahead in any metric that involves students other than UPSC results.
▮▮▮ list. Proven by the fact that NLUJ also has domicile quota now. And NALSAR is okay but NUJS will never be a number 3 after the recent batch size increase. It’s going down the path of NLIU with some random BSc LLB specialisation.
Buddy, sorry to break your ego, but NUJS is not something anyone aspires for except a few Bongs from WB. I can still understand if you said NLS. NUJS is not bad or anything compared to places like NLIU, NLUJ and all, but it’s not a top 3 after NLUD entered. And with domicile and increased batch size, it will probably never be one again.
Faculty at RML LUCKNOW is quite good and supportive. The environment is in favour of civil services. It has a good infrastructure.
GNLU just made it into the Rhodes shortlist. So haters gonna hate lalalalal
To be honest, NLIU and GNLU are good. But in all honesty, you should try considering NUALS, batch strength is the smallest in all NLUs. Placements are good too, with only 20-25 people sitting. Almost all of them get places and half of them in tier-1 for sure.
Your faculty? They ranked lower in research and publication score in the last NIRF compared to both NUJS and NALSAR. Keep crying.
Someone needs to release placement stats of NLUO, HNLU, NUALS, RGNUL, RMLNLU in the following format.

S. No. Name of the Firm No. of Jobs taken

Total Batch Strength = ...

Total No. of Students who applied for Placement = ...
