What’s the process generally. Do firms generally take multiple interviews before making an offer when making a shift at the associate level?

What about firms like JSA and NDA?
personal experience with 3legal - they were happy post one interview itself, but this also may be team dependent.
its a matter of day and luck, some get selected only through CV screening and one telephone interview. if the firm finds potential in a candidate they wrap it up asap, if they find caliber and want to assess more they take 2 more rounds where last round is mostly HR briefing on salary, perks, firm policies, joining date, onboarding documents, etc.
