Have come across multiple threads across LegallyIndia and on the internet in general about LLM from different countries. Wanted to know the scope of an LLM degree from Germany and how the same fares in India.

Please note that I am aware of the fact that LLM in itself is not a huge boost, especially in corporate law. I wish to pursue it purely for academic reasons, and the fact that Germany has a free public education, which on paper seems a very lucrative option. Any insights?
Bucerius Law School in Hamburg has an English-language LLM/MLB which a few Indians have studied. But from what I can see, they have either come back to India (a few NLSIU alum among them) or joined organisations in Germany in non-law roles. For a law role, I guess you will need a German LLB and you will have to leave the bar exam.
