He may be 'saffronizing' his image because his supposed left-leaning tendencies may have become apparent to the BJP government. His policy and legislative drafting mandates at Vidhi might take or might already have taken a hit because of this. He apparently had a lot of access due to his supposed closeness to Arun Jaitley. But that supposed access was speculated to have closed off after his untimely death. The competition may be slowly tightening its grip on the neck of his business.
When was Arghya ever left-leaning? Yes, he was certainly close to Jaitley and Vidhi helped with Jaitley's speeches and research, but Jaitley was never left-leaning. Jaitley was to the left of Modi no doubt, but he was centre-right to liberal-conservative. Arghya too falls in that category.
