I fully respect Quint's right to free speech, but why single out GNLU? Why not other NLUs? The Instagram page named many other NLUs too, while there have been documented cases involving NLSIU and NLUD students/alumni, reported in the media. I also sincerely hope Quint will not give it a political colour and make it an anti-Modi hitjob.
Simple - only GNLU story was taken up suo moto by a High Court. This started a news cycle and underpaid desperate for clicks journos will feed on this until it’s milked dry. Nothing to do with Modi.
Quint is partially owned by the Adani group. Bahl was sent packing. Before that Bahl, Sardesai and Co lost IBN to Mukesh Ambani. Media has always been a business. The rare few that have hefty endowments are also under fiscal pressure.
