Hi all, I came across a few listings for the position of Young Professional/Research Associate in the Ministry at Central Government. What exactly is the scope of work? Since it’s on a contractual basis for a year, what are the future prospects? Where does one go with a 1 year experience in this role? Thanks!

Scope is good but mostly nepo hires. I know a guy who worked with a ministry and later joined a T1. But 100% nepo kid.

It depends on the ministry you are working with and connections that you build. I know a person who after working for 4 years in Ministry of Finance directly joined Balckstone as Associate.
