I’m thinking of shifting from B&F to PE/VC, and you want to jump into a dry well?
While PE/ VC has max 3-4 main documents to be drafted, B&F has 10-12. Sure maybe the diligence is lesser in B&F, but at least in diligence minor screws get covered in the DD report. You can’t screw up in the transaction documents which are voluminous and have to be reviewed and drafted properly. Even the workflow remains steady throughout the year and worsens during the quarter ends.
Maybe I have a biased view towards B&F because I didn’t like it. But pray tell, what makes you think B&F is interesting/ better fit for you?
Would love to know the hidden skeletons in PE/ VC work.
