Given that there are many more competent judges who retired from HC and didn't get any chance in SC like Just Kureshi but the media attention on Chandrachud has made him more popular than any other judge of SC/HC. Why do we as society tend to appreciate nepotism? We simply don't celebrate the achievements of Judges like NV Ramana. Judges of Dist judiciary dont stand a chance in SC, given the nepotistic appointments of judiciary envisaged by their forefathers
and just like Papa Chandracute , Ab-now Chandracute is also hyped
