Hello. I have worked in litigation then companies and recently joined a law firm in the general corporate. From my experience, if you are looking for work life balance, then you should go for in house opportunities. Be active on LinkedIn, connect with all legal heads and head HR. Send them messages of your interest. With respect to law firms, my experience has been very bad considering it was a family run firm. I had to resign from the job and start afresh.
