Hi all, I am not from top NLUs. But I completed my law degree in faculty of law, Delhi University - 3 year program. But I need to practice in Chennai. I am a woman in my late 30s. Due to various circumstances I could only do one court internship on the criminal side. I held a part-time job throughout the course which is not legally inclined. My grades are very average. But I have previous IT and social work experience. And I have no contacts in Chennai in the legal circle. I have to start from scratch. I can eat into my savings for a year. I am prepared now to give my all and learn the craft now that I am back to Chennai. But since I have no internship experience I am apprehensive. What are the opportunities to stabilise my career in Chennai? I have to start earning at least to fend myself soon. Kindly help.
