Congrats but also time for introspection. Has NLIU reached in 25 years where NLSIU reached in even 10 years? Don't think so. I think the misrule of SS Singh hurt NLIU very badly, along with the apathy of successive Chief Ministers and lack of industry patrons like Nandan Nilekani for NLSIU. The opening of DNLU Jabalpur was also a setback, because funds that could have been allotted to NLIU will now to go DNLU.
I feel NLIU needs to urgently call a meeting of alumni and make an action plan for the next 25 years. Top priorities should be:
1. A smart, competent and well-educated VC like Sudhir. An NLIU alum will be best.
2. A meeting with the CM and BJP top brass. Get central govt funds here.
3. Explore if the CM can ask Modi for National Importance status.

To be completely honest the achievements and standing it has today are underwhelming and mediocre for completing 25 yrs.
