I'd personally recommend that you go for a somewhat young advocate, preferably in the range of 5-10 PQE range initially as they will have relatively more time to teach/mentor you compared to a renowned senior where you'll have to be a shadow and learn as the work unfolds.
Ofcourse, eventually you can go towards more senior advocates.
It also depends on the preference you have considering the practice at Bombay HC which is divided into the Advocate/Solicitor and the (Arguing) Counsel.
