Advocate K Parameshwar has been appointed as Additional Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh. He has been an AOR at SC for the past 16 years and had assisted the amicus curiae in the Nirbhaya Case.

This suggests that NALSAR is catching up with NLSIU. Prior to the appointment of Vikramjit Banerjee as Nagaland AG and the recent Karnataka AG (forget his name), NLSIU alumni were appointed AAGs, like Aditya Sondhi in Karnataka. So NALSAR is where NLSIU was 10 years ago.
