Asking as a girl (intern?) recently posted on LI that she slept with a guy at a top firm for a good reco leading to a job. I believe the claim because we see how predatory guys are in law school and how they gaslight junior girls. Why should they change after 2-3 years, when working in office ?
The problem is that girls from wealthy backgrounds don’t need to do such things, but girls facing financial pressure may feel that they have no choice. Which brings me to the other part of the question: how common is it? Will the recent slump in jobs worsen the situation?
