If you want to be seen as an objective voice, some more effort and introspection is required at how you moderate. Need the same standard for everything. Personal preference should not seep in.

Yogi is just like any other CM - didn't achieve much but some business friendliness and more investments are notable positive sides of his rule. And they don't spit paan in Government Offices like they did in the past. Negatives - a lot.
But is he a great CM? No.
If UP has to improve it must be divided into 5 or 7 states. 19 crore population is a big country, not a state.
Moreover, I can afford to ignore his communal politics given that he doesn't actually oppress any community. I can do that because other options that I have lived with before were also extremely communal with their politics. During SP reign, he was appeasing the yadav-muslim sect and he succeeded. I am witness to the fact that every other appointment in police, beaurocracy, and administration was from a particular caste. I do not have to even speak about Mayawati and BSP, you probably already know. And I hate her for the fact that is so narcissistic that she spent thousands of crores of rupees to establish a park around her party's political symbol and erected a giant statue of herself while she was the CM. This is the main attraction of Lucknow btw. There are elephants (the symbol of her political party) everywhere in the capital city and the most celebrated attraction of the city is her own statue (the security of which costs hundreds of crores every year). How pathetic misuse of public money is this? And this speaks of the volumes of illiteracy when nobody opposed this and she still gets votes. Acting chief ministers and prime ministers should not be allowed to build statues and stadiums in their names. How and why does the election commission approve this? We had too many heroes to celebrate and Mayawati is not one of them. The only reason I respected her was that she was a woman from dalit community, but I realised she is not what we deserve. Moreover, SP and BSP are so desperate to win that they are enrolling family members of criminals and mafias like Mukhtar Ansari and Atik Ahmed to gain votes. And that's what BJP does too, noy saying that BJP does not have gangsters. The MLA gangsters from SPs rule shifted to BJP when they saw a change in the wind. But atleast BJP and UP's core administration does not have goons as such which is not the case for SP and BSP. Imagine having a family member of a convicted coal mafia as your power minister.
I realized that communal politics will never end in UP. I'll give BJP one more chance with congress as my other hope. As of now there's no point of voting for congress because there's no scene of it getting 10 seats let alone forming a government.
