What a beautiful page, great work, really show cases the University! --Kianganz 13:00, 16 March 2011 (IST)

Thankyou --Mohit Singh 13:35, 16 March 2011 (IST)

I think this page should ideally be moved to Hidayatullah National Law University. Inputs? --Anirudhsbh 16:09, 6 October 2010 (IST)

Yeah, is a good point, thanks. But we've gone for a format at the moment where page titles are abbreviate as those are the most commonly used names for the law schools and the long names are often super-wordy. Not sure yet, need to have a consistent approach either way... Any thoughts anyone? --Kianganz 16:16, 6 October 2010 (IST)

I had also thought of keeping the pages with their Institution's name but as said by Kianganz it might make it super-wordy. Therefore the alternate solution to this can be that the pages can be redirected as is the case with HNLU Raipur and Hidayatullah National Law University.--Mohit Singh 21:51, 6 October 2010 (IST)

Good idea Mohit, I agree. I think we can create redirects for the big law schools and gradually create for others whenever we see it's necessary. --Kianganz 03:12, 7 October 2010 (IST)

Funny characters?

By the way, what's this character in the fees section: ₹1,000/- p.a. (the one before 1,000 and other numbers) -- is it the new Rupee symbol? On my screen it looks like a box of gibberish alas :( I think we should stick to using Rs throughout so it's compatible with widest number of comps - am fixing now. Cheers --Kianganz 03:16, 7 October 2010 (IST)

update - looks like it wasn't Rs symbols but a tab character or so - must have happened when copy-pasting from the HNLU website. Have corrected and transposed some of these into tables.--Kianganz 03:31, 7 October 2010 (IST)

The character Indian Rupee symbol.png is the new symbol for rupee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupee).

We can install the symbol from this website:http://blog.foradian.com/ There has not yet been any world-wide accepted keyboard setting for it as this symbol was launched only 2 months back.

Keyboard set for it is the "₹" when we install the Rupee Foradin font. As of now all websites including Wikipedia use the image for Rupee Character.--user:Mohit Singh 10:18, 7 October 2010 (IST)

How much detail to include on fees?

This is perhaps a more fundamental question about what Legallypedia should be... How much detail do we need to include on fees on each law school's page? Do you think it's a good idea to give a full break-down of all fees potentially payable by students?

Or is it maybe better to just write the most important headline fees, and then link to another page potentially which lists all of the fees payable (or just links to the HNLU website, if it lists such fees.).

We have to come up with a proper philosophy behind LP - is it supposed to be a repository for as much info as possible on law schools, etc? Or is it supposed to be something that looks inside the schools a little more, maybe gives more personal accounts? --Kianganz 03:31, 7 October 2010 (IST)

Ineed Kian, we can apply the same rule for Fees structures for the law school pages. Rather if we have a detailed and illustrated Law School pages, then we can also make a page comparing the fees of all the law schools. However we are only in the initial phase of it.User:Mohit Singh 10:32, 07 October 2010 (IST)
