Organisers

This is the first edition of the this moot court competition. The competition is being jointly organised by National Law Institute University, BhopalItalic text in collaboration with Juris Corp, advovates & solicitors, MumbaiItalic text. NLIU has the fortunate experience of hosting 7 national moot court competitions in the last 5 years. The list includes the very prestigious names like Bar Council of India Trust Moot Court Competition 2006, Justice R. K. Tankha Memorial Moot Court Competition in 2005, 2007 and 2009, Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (North Rounds)in 2008 and 2009. NLIU also hosted the very first edition of Surana & Surana Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition in 2005. The university has consistently been ranked among the top 3 law universitiesItalic textin India by India Today Magazine.

Juris Corp, advovates & solicitors was founded in year 2000 under the stewardship of Mr. H. JayeshItalic text. The firm is in its 10th year of establishment. It specialises in Banking & finance, Joint Ventures, Foreign Investments into India, Private Equity, Bankruptcy & Restructuring, Cross-border M&A, Insurance, Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration. NLIU - Juris Corp National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2010 is a gesture on part of the organisers to contribute to the community of law students and expose them to the rapidly changing paradigm of corporate practices.
