Background

National Law Institute University (NLIU) Bhopal was established in 1998 by an enactment of the State Legislature of Madhya Pradesh in 1997.

Location

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The campus is located in the lush green forest in the back waters of Kerwa Dam. The hillocks of Bhabdhada give sylvan surrounding to NLIU.

The college was allotted 40 acres of land on a hillock by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to develop its campus.<ref>NLIU website - About Us</ref>
