The MPL tracks the progress of Indian law schools over more than 30 national and international moot court competitions. The second season, dubbed the MPL 2, took place in 2010-11, and the current edition - the MPL 3 is currently taking place.

History

The Legally India Mooting Premier League (MPL) was started in 2009 by Legally India and GNLU Gandhinagar final year student Vinay Mishra.

The winner of the 2009-10 MPL was Nalsar Hyderabad, followed by NLSIU Bangalore and NUJS Kolkata.

The second season of the MPL started in September 2010.
