RSG India says

"The firm has one of the two top indirect tax practices in India and is known for its top quality and sheer brilliance. Although a niche practice, this combination of reputation and excellence ensures that it should be considered among India's top firms. LakshmiKumaran manages the firm from Delhi, while brother Sridharan has a smaller litigation office in Mumbai. The planned merger between Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan and Vaish & Associates in 2008 did not go ahead but would have created a powerhouse of a tax practice in Delhi."<ref>RSG India profile</ref>
