Chhattisgarh High Court was established on on 01 November, 2000 after the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000 was passed. It has jurisdiction over the state of Chhattisgarh. High Court of Bilaspur is the 19th High Court of India.<ref>http://www.hindu.com/2000/10/28/stories/01280002.htm</ref>
