Finsec Law Advisors was established in July 2010 as a financial sector law firm which assists in areas of securities market regulations including in areas such as takeovers of listed companies, stock exchange markets, brokers, primary markets, listing agreement, mutual funds, private equity and FII.
The founder of the firm Sandeep Parekh, is a former head of legal affairs and enforcement departments of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and former faculty at IIM, Ahmedabad and has worked for a law firm in Delhi, Mumbai and Washington, D.C. Sandeep has an LL.M. (Securities & Fin Regs) degree from Georgetown University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of Mensa. He is a World Economic Forum “Young Global Leader”. and has been invited to speak at Davos. He writes a monthly column for the Economic Times.
Indrajit Mishra, a partner at the firm brings a decade of experience in private equity and foreign investments. Indrajit is also a qualified company secretary. Tejesh Chitlangi, a graduate of NLU, Jodhpur is a senior associate and brings experience in funds including FIIs, Venture Capital and mutual funds. Yash Bansal is an associate and graduate of NALSAR, Hydrabad.
