The Common Law Admissions Test or CLAT is an admissions test for a number of Indian law schools.<ref>http://clat.ac.in</ref>
The Undergraduate test paper covers the following subjects: (i) English including Comprehension (ii) General Knowledge/Current Affairs (iii) Elementary Mathematics (Numerical ability) (iv) Legal Aptitude Logical Reasoning.
The Post-graduate test paper covers the following subject areas:Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Legal Theory.<ref>http://clat.ac.in/PDF/FAQs.pdf</ref>
