TBC: Write a little about how mooting in college is organised.
Mooting is an integral part of student life at GLC, and the Moot Court Association co-ordinates all mooting activities at the college. Students from all batches are eligible to represent GLC in inter-collegiate moots. The most prestigious intra-college moot is the Grand Moot, which allows the final rankers to represent GLC at several elite of Indian moots. Common Eliminations are held from time to time for one or more moots, that aren't included in the Grand Moot. A unique feature of GLC mooting is that GLC does not restrict its participation to elite national moots, but also participates in smaller national moots, and even several state level and city level moots. This being in tune with the objective of giving every student a chance to moot at whatever level they are most comfortable with, mainly for the experience.
DMH is India's first International Moot Court Competition and was started in 2000 as a National Moot Court Competition. However, it has been open to international entrants since 2006. Four of the highest scoring Memorials shall qualify for the Oral Rounds of Argument.
