The moment you enter the last year of your graduation, the only thing that matters is the JOB! People tend to ask your parents about you and parents ask you the dreaded question - 'Have you thought of anything?'. That is when you forget about everything and pounce on the first opportunity you get.
If you are lucky, some firms will come to your so called reputed law university and if you are lucky enough you will get placed. What follows after that is called the 'Honeymoon season' for a placed student. Nothing brings more joy and pride than the feeling of getting placed when your batch mates are still searching for the job and cramming provisions of constitution as some of them have 'now' decided to appear for Judiciary and other will join the 'Bar' as a profession as they introspected while coming from a place having a similar name that it is their 'calling'.
Soon, the honeymoon chapter ends and 'oho' chapter begins. Your first day in firm where it is told to you that this is the best place to work and the sweetest people surround you. After working for a while you begin to look for the synonyms of the word sweet! your team members who told you to approach them whenever you have a doubt, now will reply you back with 'what?!' as if you just asked something as inappropriate as them having AIDS! The firm expects your memory to be that of  'Rohit'(refer Koi Mil Gaya) but they don't realize that you don't have a friend like 'Jadoo'.
The expectations of the firm that you are required to meet during your probation period makes you think if you have been selected for the associate designation or a manager one. The firm will not only take your work into consideration but also your social behavior where you are required to be friendly with everyone especially your team members and your manager.
That means you have to laugh at their ridiculous PJs.
You have to diligently 'advise' them what movie they should go for this weekend. That means, you have to be good at multitasking as you are not only an associate but an active advisor and show all the qualities of a 'feel good-pleasant-bad sense of humor-good resource' individual which fits their profile so that they can confirm you and your probation ends.
Well the truth is all employees are not that 'Talented' and sadly the firm never compromises on its policy of Probation!
