(The news is a mere Legal Satire and this is a decleration for only those who wouldn't have got it otherwise.)

In a drastic turn of events relating to ongoing socio-political debate in the nation, Ms. Mayawati (Plaintiff) has filed a suit for specific performance of contract against Ms. Smriti Irani (Defendant), asking her to “kalam” her head and to present it on her feet. The Plaintiff in return has agreed to not stall anymore sessions of the Parliament on this issue, while kept quiet about how she would react to other ongoing issues of national importance.

In her plaint, the plaintiff has tried to establish how a contract was made between her and the defendant while the later had begged the former to allow her to speak in her own allotted time. Plaintiff argues that it was a verbal contract made in return of consideration of keeping quiet through the proceedings, and thus is binding upon the defendant. The proof of the contract has been presented in the Court as a recording from the live telecast of the RS Session, which can be seen here:

The Plaintiff alleges that she accepted the offer of defendant in good faith and kept quiet after the same, but the reply of defendant “did not convince her”. To enforce the terms of the contract the plaintiff asked defendant to perform her promise under the contract. Upon non-performance, the plaintiff has approached the court under different provisions of Indian Contract Act and Specific Relief Act with a hope to get an order of specific performance against the defendant.

All members meeting of the government has been called for to tackle this battle. As per the information received from a secret source, the team of lawyers lead by the FM himself, is trying to prove that the defendant didn’t had the capacity to enter into an agreement in the first place, due to temporary insanity. The source further said that arguendo argument of proving that the contract was void, due to being illegal in nature, is being prepared as a backup plan.

Other sources inform that the plaintiff may settle the matter outside the court in exchange of one story based on her life in the NCERT book on Indian Politics and a picture of her statute in the cover of at least 4 NCERT History books.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi was found telling, on a Prime Time News Show, how this case is a classic example of women empowerment.
