Hitting Rock Bottom...

"Quiting is easy...Its carrying on that takes courage"-Anon.
Read the first line my friends..no dont just read, understand it.This article is not for those who always won.Not for those who always had Lady Luck on their side. This article goes out to those who failed.Maybe failed a lot of times. Those who have hit the bottom. This is a small story for themI hope this inspires them not to quit.
Not very long back in a small town called Asansol in West Bengal, lived a boy.(He is still alive but not there anymore). He was someone you could call "destined to be a loser".Short, timid and out casted.Till class 10 he had no one he could consider as a good close friend. He screwed up his 10 exams.Got just a meager 72%.Still somehow managed to get into a High School. There he was forced to take science against his wishes on account of his parents. He messed up there too.He was mocked at by his classmates.Laughed at.He wasnt at all good in his studies. He passed his class 11 with a promotion with warning(pww). Then came the lowest of all lows.He just got a low 61% in his +2 Boards.Never had any friends, but now even his only family left him.All relatives hurled abuses at him.Family friends flaunted their son's and daughters marks, while all dreams laid shattered on their floor. His dad wanted a doctor...his mom wanted an engineering..Now both wouldnt be possible. All hell broke lose in their house. No body stopped blaming him.His house became his prison. And there was only one way to escape it.He could have quit......It would have been very simple....No more scoldings..No more work..an easy end...But he didnt...He didnt quit....for a simple reason...A lot of people had told him a lot of rubbish...His friends had laughed at him...his relatives had ridiculed him....His parents had to hear things cause of him...He decided to do something.....he had to prove something to himself...He sat for CLAT...unfortunately he couldnt even get there....Then when all hope seemed lost he got a call from an new and upcoming Law Collage...It was a new college but had a good backing...And so he went of to Hyderabad to join it and have a new beginning..That was July,2011..
July 2012.....One year later...He returned from Hyderabad after completing his first year....Just one year had passed...but everything had changed...In his first semester he had got a stunning 9.14 GPA and topped his class.Got a scholarship.Won competitions inside and outside the collage. Those relatives who had abused him started singing his praise..All those "friends" who had taunted him started idolizing him.....How did this change happen??...simple..it was cause of the boy's desire to prove to himself that he was not a failure...to prove to the world that they were wrong...The guy currently has 4 publications in three legal blogs...
What did i want to prove by this??...quiting doesnt help...But staying and fighting might.....there is no surety in life...but if you fight..your chances improve....It doesnt matter if everyone left you....dont do it for others...but do it for the sake of the person in the mirror...Cause in the end...you dont have to live with the consequences of others actions..you have to live with he consequences  of your own..This is just one story....there are hundreds of people like these around you...people who hit the rock bottom...but didnt quit....remember you cant climb to the top if u havnt seen the bottom...its okay if u lose...u have nothing left to lose..then why not give another shot??..
Think over this...if you think all is lost then why not give one last try??...not for others..but for the sake of yourself...after all its your life..you decide how it ends..no one else does..It doesnt matter if your an loser..even i was once there..Being a loser may not be your fault...but staying a loser is..
