IndusLaw has hired its second tax lateral partner with PDS Legal director Shashi Mathews having joined as a partner in its Delhi office.

PDS Legal partner Tarun Gulati, who had joined in 2013 from Economic Laws Practice (ELP), has been designated senior counsel by the Allahabad high court, as part of a mammoth round of 75 new senior advocates.

Chetan Nagendra, former Bangalore partner of AZB & Partners, has joined Big 4 consultancy E&Y best friend law firm PDS Legal as a partner, to open up its Bangalore office, according to sources with knowledge of the move.

"Monsanto is selling its branded cotton seeds business in India to Hyderabad-based Tierra Agrotech, although the US biotechnology major would remain invested in farming segments such as corn seeds, crop protection, vegetables and Bollgard II technologies," reported the Economic Times.
