Day Zero is usually the first day of recruitment at Indian law schools, at which the most favoured recruiters visit campus and/or conduct interviews with students for placement, often more than a year before graduation.

NLU Delhi has placed 21 students graduating in 2017 after its Day Zero
NUJS Kolkata placed at least 40 fourth year students in seven big Indian law firms, confirmed the recruiting firms after the NUJS recruitment coordination committee (RCC) declined to disclose its statistics citing “university policy”.
NLSIU Bangalore’s 2017-graduating batch placed 33 out of 53 participating recruitment coordination committee (RCC) members, out of a total batch of 81, on 2 April.
