Hostel and paying guest accommodation startup, Stanza Living has raised an estimated Rs 73 crores (around $10m) in a Series A round of funding led by Sequoia Capital, along with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners and California-headquartered Accel Partners, as reported by VC Circle and Mint. With the current investment, the total capital raised by Stanza Living stands at Rs 86 crores, also marking it the largest ever in the Indian market-space.

With the fresh funds the startup looks forward to bolster its technology engine, strengthen its core leadership team and spread its network of operations to expand across multiple markets.
