Khaitan advises Nashik-based water management firm Kimplas Piping Systems on acquisition by Germany’s Norma Group

Germany-based machine joining components manufacturer NORMA Group SE have acquired 100% stake in Indian water management firm Kimplas Piping Systems for an undisclosed amount, as reported by VC Circle and The Hindu Business Line. The deal was closed on July 5, 2018 reported Business Insider.

Khaitan & Co acted for Kimplas Piping Systems and its promoter in the deal, led by partner Nikhilesh Panchal, principal associate Malav Shah and associate Murugaveni Pillai.

Established in the year 1996, Kimplas Piping Systems manufactures electrofusion, compression fittings valves and proprietary equipment for the micro-irrigation industry. The current acquisition of Kimplas is expected to expand Norma Group’s water management portfolio and strengthen its position in Asia.
