Samvad, Khaitan on QuEST Global’s buy of Bengaluru IT firm Exilant Tech

Engineering solutions company, QuEST Global Services, has announced the acquisition of Bangalore-based advanced technology provider Exilant Technologies for an undisclosed amount, as a move for QuEST Global’s 2020 diversification strategy and enter new markets, reported VC Circle and The Hindu Business Line.

Samvad Partners acted as the legal advisors for Exilant Technologies, led by partner Harish B Narasappa, counsel Juhi Mehta, and associates Sindhushree Gadasalli, Samyuktha Damojipurapu and Aakash Parihar.

The Bengaluru team of Khaitan & Co advised QuEST Global Engineering Services in the acquisition and was led by partner Ganesh Prasad, senior associate Rishabh Bharadwaj along with associates H Muralikrishnan and Siddharth Baladevan Nair.

Founded in 2004 by former Infosys executives, Exilant has over 900 employees worldwide with facilities in Singapore, London and the Silicon Valley, providing software products and services for product-engineering services, mobility, social media applications, business intelligence and analytics, and cloud-based services. It is expected that the current acquisition of Elixant will help strengthen Singapore-based QuEST’s technology capabilities and expand its footprint in the high-tech industry.
