Trilegal, CAM, Rajaram, SAM, Avigna act on Pharmeasy-MedLife mega merger

Health-tech startup, Pharmeasy, owned by API Holdings has acquired 100% stake in the Medlife group from its existing shareholders in consideration of securities issued to the Medlife shareholders, for a stake of 15.7% in API. This is one of the largest deals forming part of the increasing consolidation in the online pharmacy business in India, reported Inc42.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Pharmeasy’s parent company, Pharmeasy owned by API Holdings Private Limited led by its transaction team comprising of partner Ravindra Bandhakavi, partner Dhruv Singhal, with support from senior associate Sonakshi Arora, principal associate Arijeet Mukherjee, senior associate Aditya Dayal, senior associate Shweta Pandey, associate Akshat Parmar associate Shorya Choudhary and associate Rahul Joshi. The competition team was led by partner Avaantika Kakkar, principal associate Kirthi Srinivas and associate Sree Ramya Hari.
