Khaitan acts for Emami on selling out of Emami Power to Brookfield AM (Mar ‘20)

The promoters of Emami Group sold their entire shareholding in Emami Power Limited to Pyrite Power Private Limited, an Indian affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management Inc.

Canadian investment giant Brookfield Asset Management has sealed a deal to buy out Emami Power, the solar power business of Kolkata-based diversified conglomerate Emami Group.
