Antares, Vertices help Series B $9m into Sindhuja Microcredit

Norway-based Nordic Microfinance Initiative (NMI) and Carpediem Capital have agreed to invest Rs 67.5 crore in Sindhuja Microcredit, a New Delhi-based rural focused micro finance institution. NMI and Carpediem will pick minority stakes in the company, which provides financial services to the bottom of the pyramid self-employed women entrepreneurs.

Antares Legal advised Investors, viz. Nordic Microfinance Initiative (NMI) and Carpdiem Capital led by a team of Founder and partner, Siddharth Bhavnani, with senior associate Surbhi Kothiala and associate Mohona Thakur.

Vertices Partners advised Sindhuja Microcredit led by a team of founder partner Archana Khosla Burman, senior associate Hardik Thakker and associate Sushmita Ravi, with managing partner Vinayak Burman providing strategic inputs.
