Ola Electric Mobility charges to unicorn with Khaitan in $250m round with Rajaram • AZB for Softbank

Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd has raised about $250 million from SoftBank Group Corp., thus becoming the second company founded by Bhavish Aggarwal to join the coveted unicorn club of startups valued at more than $1 billion.

Khaitan & Co advised Ola Electric Mobility led by a core transaction team of partner Sharad Moudgal, partner Rishabh Bharadwaj, associate Chirag Narasimiah and associate Anurag Singh with assistance from partner Rahul Singh on competition law aspects and principal associate Swathy Ramanath on electricity law aspects.

Rajaram Legal advised existing investor Matrix Partners led by a team of partner Prasad Subramanyan with senior associate Aakanksha Pagnis.
