L&L acts for Amansa Cap in $31m investment in AZB’s Jana Small Finance Bank

Amansa Capital has acquired a minority stake in Jana Small Finance Bank (formerly known as Janalakshmi Financial Services), a small finance bank registered with the Reserve Bank of India. Jana Small Finance Bank is one of India’s largest microfinance and small finance bank.

L&L Partners advised Amansa Capital led by a team of partner Sundeep Dudeja, partner Vaibhav Kakkar, managing associate Snigdhaneel Satpathy and associate Debarpan Ghosh. In competition law, managing associate Rudresh Singh provided his inputs.

Update 12 June 2019: AZB & Partners advised Jana Small Finance Bank Limited led by a team including partner Divya Mundra and Raina Upadhyay.
