Legal process outsourcing (LPO) company Pangea3 has acquired 12,000 square feet of floorspace with a 165-seat capacity on a mezzanine above its existing office in Andheri earlier this month.
The LPO's existing space on the ground-floor of Mumbai's Leela Business Park had 250 operational seats and its satellite office at Eagle's Flight in Andheri has around 100 seats.
Pangea3's co-CEO Sanjay Kamlani said that the new office space (pictured) was required due to "dramatic" growth last year.
"Last year we grew about 100 per cent - this year we are already at 30 per cent growth," he told Legally India. "When the space became available, it made sense to acquire it."
He noted that the LPO's Delhi office was also growing, having added around 165 seats to reach a total of 12,000 square feet last year. "We are already talking about how to expand in Delhi and acquire the above floor in that office."
Support staff has initially moved onto the new floor in Andheri. Plans to directly connect the mezzanine and the groundfloor are currently underway.
The total usable 'carpet' area available to Pangea3 in Mumbai is now 26,000 square feet, according to Kamlani, with 12,000 square feet carpet on its existing ground-floor, 9,000 on the new mezzanine floor and 5,000 in its pre-existing Eagle's Flight office.
In Delhi the LPO has around 12,000 square feet of built-up area.
