NLSIU: Waits for them to come to BangaloreExclusive: NLSIU Bangalore’s graduating class of 65 this year secured 46 jobs across 18 Indian and foreign organisations. The recruitment coordination committee (RCC) placed 35 students in 12 organisations. One-fifth of the class is headed to Luthra & Luthra Law Offices.

BCI Bhawan The Bar Council of India (BCI) has decided to charge law students a mandatory one-time fee of Rs 100 and law teachers a recurring fee of Rs 3,000, while law schools will have to pay the BCI Rs 5,000 by 30 June.

HNLU Raipur: Effectively changing the local climateExclusive: Legal Process Outsourcing Unit (LPO) Pangea 3 was the only recruiter visiting HNLU Raipur’s rural Abhanpur campus for the class graduating this year, but 19 out of 60 total students secured jobs across 10 law firms, two LPOs and a company. The Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) placed 12 out of its 31 subscribers from the graduating batch.

Nalsar-hyderabadNalsar Hyderabad’s recruitment coordination committee (RCC) for 2012 placed all 43 of its campus placement participants from the batch of 72 students graduating from the law school this year. The 100 per cent target achieved in campus placement spanned 14 Indian organisations and two foreign law firms.

Out of the 29 non-participating students while some have accepted LLM offers and judicial clerkships, most will join court practice.
