Wadia Ghandy promotes 5 homegrown lawyers to partner in Mumbai

Wadia Ghandy has promoted five of its lawyers to partner level in Mumbai growing its total number of salaried partners to 28.

Senior associates Kingshuk Banerjee in disputes, Dhruv Khanna in private equity and aviation, Sanyantani Dutta in corporate, capital markets and private equityy and Nitesh Ranavat and Swapnil Khatri in real estate and disputes were made up.

Duttais a 2006 alumnus of NUJS Kolkata, Bannerjee and Ranavat are GLC Mumbai 2007 alumni, Khatri is a 2008 alumnus of Symbiosis Pune and Khanna is an articled clerk of the firm since 2004. Khanna qualified as a solicitor in 2008. All of them started their legal careers at Wadia.

Co-managing partner Dhawal Mehta confirmed the promotions and commented: “They are all homegrown, have been with us for seven to eight years.

“As is the tradition at Wadia Ghandy, the firm has always stood by young talent and given them a platform.”
