Kumar co-founded Perfexio Legal along with two other partners in the Noida region in the first week of September to focus on IP related work alongside some bit of corporate law.

Kumar said: “I have 18 years of experience in the field of IP and it is the dream of every lawyer to start his own practice, which is the reason for starting out Perfexio Legal. Our focus is completely on IP related work and little corporate work as both are interlinked. I’ve always represented innovation-based clients and will further be focussing on them.”

Kumar had joined L&S along with another IP practitioner last year after having spent more than ten years at Remfry & Sagar.

Perfexio Legal’s office is located in sector 142 of Noida’s Advent Business Park and has four associates with plans of further manpower expansion.

Kumar declined to confirm details of the other two Perfexio founding partners but said their names would be confirmed publicly in due course.

LKS partner Badri Narayanan speaking on behalf of the firm confirmed Kumar’s departure while adding that LKS wished him best.
