Juris Corp corporate partner Vandana Sekhri leaves

Juris Corp Mumbai partner Vandana Sekhri has resigned from the firm, effective 31 January, to pursue other opportunities.

Sekhri said in a press release: “Juris Corp is a great place to work and grow and the experience has been enriching and valuable. Moving on has been a difficult decision, however I have decided to explore other opportunities.”

Sekhri’s resignation will take effect from 31 January. Her areas of expertise include joint ventures, private equity, structured finance and securities laws. She had previously worked with Desai & Diwanji.

It is understood that she is still considering career options.

Juris Corp founding partner H Jayesh commented in a statement: “She is a terrific lawyer and adept at handling complex transactions. She will make her mark in whatever she does next and we wish her great success”.

In April 2011 Juris Corp partner Huzefa Nasikwala left the firm to start his own real estate and litigation practice in Mumbai, reported Legally India.
