Ex- MNK Abhijit Mittal starts practicing as ADAZ with partner Dhruv Rohatgi

Mittal: Following his dream
Mittal: Following his dream

Former MNK Law Offices associate Abhijit Mittal and his law school friend advocate Dhruv Rohatgi, have started ADAZ Law Chambers.

Symbiosis Law School Pune 2011-graduate Mittal had been at MNK for two years before practising at the chambers of senior advocate Sanjay Jain at the Delhi high court.

Rohatgihas practiced in the chambers of senior advocate Lala Ram Gupta before setting up ADAZ in July with Mittal as co-partners.

Mittal said that ADAZ had been operating out of their chambers at the Delhi high court, with an additional office space in Gurgaon.

Mittal said that they “primarily deal with litigation as well as arbitration work”, but have also been doing matters related to real estate and basic civil and criminal litigation matters.

Mittal added that they would hope to finalise two other partners joining within the next eight months but declined to confirm further details.

ADAZ was set up after MNK disbanded with the majority of partners merging into Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas on 14 July.

Mittal commented: “I have always wanted to practice independently and be self-employed.”

He noted that he saw a chance to follow-up with his dream when the deal with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and MNK took place.
