Nair had been at Luthra for seven years and had graduated from NLIU Bhopal in 2005, also completing a 2007 LLM in international trade and dispute resolution at the University of Queensland in Australia.
He specialises on competition investigations and inquiries before the CCI, according to a press release from ELP.
ELP partner Suhail Nathani said in the press release that the practice of competition law required lawyers who were “equally at ease appearing before the regulatory authorities, the appellate bodies and advising clients out of that experience”.
Luthra & Luthra said that as a policy the firm did not comment on the entry or exit of junior lawyers.
Last month ELP restructured its partnership to double the size of its equity partnership while promoting eight associate partners to the non-equity partnership.
Samir Gandhi was formerly ELP’s most senior competition law partner until he joined AZB & Partners in Delhi as the firm’s first full-time competition law partner.

Ravi will be missed a lot in Luthra. Hoping that they are able to find a good enough replacement.
Good Luck ravi for your future endeavours.
WHAT is going on over there? Why are their star performers leaving?
And since when is a Managing Associate a "junior lawyer"??
