Desai & Diwanji corporate Delhi moves to Gurgaon

Exclusive: Desai & Diwanji has relocated its corporate transactions group to a new 8,500 square foot office in Gurgaon’s DLF Phase III while keeping its earlier central Delhi premises for the litigation team while finalising another Delhi location.

“The reason for the move was in keeping with the firm’s expansion plans and also to have a better managed facility,” said Desai & Diwanji Delhi partner Amit Khansaheb.

“Our litigation practice group is still operating out of old offices at Connaught Place but will be moving to new offices at Lajpat Nagar within the next month.”

The firm moved into the new office on 21 January 2011 on a long-term lease. It is located on the 15th Floor of DLF Cyber Terraces Tower A in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Gurgaon.

The current total headcount of Desai Diwanji in Delhi was 35 advocates and the new Gurgaon office was equipped to accommodate a total of 55 to 60 lawyers, said Khansaheb.

In Delhi one partner in charge and four associate partners take care of the corporate practice of the firm while one associate partner supervises the litigation work of four associates.

Zeus Law also recently moved to Gurgaon from Delhi.
